Transaction Coordination Software Pricing Compared (2026)

Transaction coordination software runs anywhere from $29/month to $715/month in 2026 — and the cheapest option for a solo TC can be the most expensive one for a ten-person team. The spread isn’t about features so much as pricing model: per-seat, flat team rate, or per-transaction.

Full disclosure up front: we build TC Track, so we have a horse in this race. To keep this useful anyway, every number below comes from the vendors’ published pricing pages as of August 2026, and we compute the math at real team sizes — including the sizes where competitors beat us. If you want feature recommendations rather than numbers, that’s our best transaction coordination software guide. This article is just the math.

The three pricing models

Every platform in this comparison uses one of three models. Understanding which model you’re buying matters more than the headline price, because each one scales differently as your team grows.

Per-seat. You pay for each login. TC Track charges $29/month for the first user and $19/month for each additional user. AFrame charges per user in descending tiers: $54/user for users 1–5, $34/user for users 6–10, $24/user for 11–15, and $14/user from 16 on. Open To Close is a hybrid — a base plan ($99 Grow, $199 Pro, or $399 Scale, each including one user) plus $69/user/month for every additional user. Per-seat costs climb with headcount and ignore deal volume entirely.

Flat team rate. One price covers a band of users. TcDocs charges $70/month for a solo login, then a flat $85/month for any team of 2–10 logins, stepping to $110 (11–15), $135 (16–20), and $160 (21–25). The tenth login costs the same as the second: nothing.

Per-transaction with unlimited users. You pay by monthly closing volume, not headcount. Paperless Pipeline runs from $69/month (up to 5 transactions) to $715/month (450+, then $1.65 per extra transaction), with unlimited users on every plan. Their optional commission module is a paid add-on — +$64/month at the 40-transaction tier.

What you’d actually pay at real team sizes

Headline prices hide the compounding. Here’s the monthly bill computed at one, three, five, and ten users. Open To Close is computed on its cheapest plan (Grow, $99 base + $69 per additional user); Paperless Pipeline is shown as a range because its price tracks deal volume, not users.

UsersTC TrackTcDocsAFrameOpen To Close (Grow)Paperless Pipeline
1$29$70$54$99$69–$715 by volume
3$67$85$162$237$69–$715 by volume
5$105$85$270$375$69–$715 by volume
10$200$85$440$720$69–$715 by volume

A few things jump out of that table:

  • Solo, TC Track is the cheapest published price: $29 versus $54 (AFrame), $70 (TcDocs), $69+ (Paperless Pipeline), and $99 (Open To Close).
  • At three users, TC Track still wins at $67, with TcDocs close behind at $85.
  • At four users it flips: TC Track is $86, TcDocs is $85. One dollar, but a flip.
  • At ten users, TcDocs beats TC Track badly — $85 flat versus our $200. We’re not going to pretend otherwise. If you’re running 5–10 logins and want the lowest bill, TcDocs’ flat rate is hard to argue with. Our TcDocs vs TC Track page walks through where the two differ beyond price.
  • Open To Close’s $69/user charge compounds fastest. A 10-user team on the cheapest plan pays $720/month — and the Grow tier doesn’t include the advanced automations, task triggers, or commission templates, which start on Pro at $199 base.
  • AFrame’s descending tiers help, but late. The per-user rate drops to $34 at user six and $24 at user eleven, so a 10-user team pays $440 — not $540. The tiers reward big teams; small teams pay the full $54/user.

Why our own math cuts against us

TC Track is $29 + $19/user because we price per seat with every feature on every plan — no tiers to upsell. That makes us the cheapest at 1–3 users and progressively less competitive as headcount grows, which is exactly what the table shows. Any vendor whose pricing page claims to be cheapest at every team size is doing the math wrong.

The transaction-volume lens: when Paperless Pipeline wins

Paperless Pipeline is the odd one out — unlimited users, priced by monthly closings — so comparing it to per-seat platforms means asking two questions: how many people, and how many deals?

Their published tiers: up to 5 transactions/month $69 · 10 for $140 · 25 for $190 · 40 for $240 · 80 for $335 · 150 for $425 · 250 for $540 · 350 for $645 · 450+ for $715 plus $1.65 per extra transaction. Setup, training, and import are free on every plan, and there’s no contract.

That works out to a falling cost per deal as volume grows: $13.80 per transaction at the 5-deal tier, $6.00 at the 40-deal tier, about $1.59 at 450. The model punishes low volume and rewards high volume — the mirror image of per-seat, which punishes headcount and ignores volume.

Run the crossover against TC Track’s per-seat math ($29 + $19/user):

  • 4+ users closing ≤5 deals/month: Paperless at $69 beats TC Track’s $86 — and even TcDocs’ $85.
  • 7+ users closing ≤10 deals/month: Paperless at $140 edges TC Track’s $143.
  • 10 users closing ≤25 deals/month: Paperless at $190 beats TC Track’s $200. At 26+ deals the next tier ($240) puts TC Track back ahead.
  • A solo TC at any volume: per-transaction pricing never wins. A solo coordinator closing 40 deals a month pays $240 on Paperless Pipeline versus $29 on TC Track or $70 on TcDocs.

Against the pricier per-seat platforms, Paperless Pipeline’s window is much wider: a 10-user team pays less on Paperless up to 150 deals/month ($425) than on AFrame ($440), and up to 450+ deals ($715) than on Open To Close Grow ($720). The rule of thumb: the more your structure looks like many people, few deals — admin-heavy brokerages, part-time agents — the better per-transaction pricing gets. Lots of deals per person, per-seat wins. Our Paperless Pipeline comparison goes deeper on the trade-offs.

The hidden-cost checklist

The sticker price is where the bill starts, not where it ends. Four things to check on any pricing page before you commit:

1. Per-user creep. What does login number four cost? On Open To Close it’s $69/month, on AFrame $54, on TC Track $19, on TcDocs and Paperless Pipeline $0. Multiply by where your team will be in a year, not where it is today.

2. Feature-gated tiers. Open To Close publishes three tiers: Grow ($99) covers unlimited transactions, custom fields, merge fields, scheduled emails, free agent and client portals, and task management; advanced automations, intake forms, task triggers, and commission templates require Pro ($199); conditionals, trigger templates, and premium support require Scale ($399). If the feature that sold you lives one tier up, the real price is that tier’s price. (TC Track ships every feature on every plan — the only thing $19 buys is another seat. Fair warning: our email automation is currently in beta.)

3. Add-on modules. Paperless Pipeline’s commission module is a separate +$64/month at the 40-transaction tier, on top of the $240 base. If commission tracking is a must-have, price the bundle, not the base.

4. Setup and migration fees. Good news: nobody in this comparison publishes one, and Paperless Pipeline explicitly includes free setup, training, and import. Trial terms are the softer version of this check — TC Track and TcDocs run 14-day trials with no credit card, AFrame and Open To Close run 30 days, Paperless Pipeline 14. A trial that takes a card number isn’t hiding a fee, but it is counting on you forgetting to cancel.

Price the software against the fee it supports

Most independent TCs charge $300–$500 per file. At that rate, even the priciest option here is a fraction of one file per month — so the real question isn’t whether $85 beats $105, it’s which platform lets you carry more files without dropping deadlines. See our breakdown of transaction coordinator fees for the revenue side of that math.

So which is cheapest?

There’s no one answer — the cheapest platform depends entirely on team shape:

  • 1–3 users: TC Track, at $29–$67/month. Nobody else’s published price comes under it at those sizes.
  • 4 users: effectively a tie — TcDocs $85 vs TC Track $86.
  • 5–10 users: TcDocs, at $85 flat.
  • Many users, few deals (4+ people, ≤5 closings/month): Paperless Pipeline at $69.
  • Feature depth over price: AFrame and Open To Close cost more at every size we computed, and they’re priced that way because they bundle more — AFrame with CRM, analytics, client portal, Zapier, and an open API; Open To Close with portals and advanced automations on its upper tiers. Whether that’s worth the delta is a features question, not a pricing one — the head-to-head comparisons in Related Guides below take it on directly.

We built TC Track’s pricing for the small end of that spectrum: $29 + $19/user, unlimited transactions and storage, every feature on every plan, and a 14-day trial with no credit card. If you’re a solo TC or a small team, start with the numbers on our pricing page — they’re the same ones we used in every table above.

Frequently asked questions

How much does transaction coordination software cost?

Published prices in August 2026 run from $29/month for a solo coordinator on TC Track to $715/month for Paperless Pipeline’s highest-volume tier. Most solo TCs pay $29–$99/month; teams of five typically pay $85–$375/month depending on the platform’s pricing model.

Is per-transaction pricing cheaper than per-seat pricing?

It depends on your ratio of people to deals. Per-transaction pricing with unlimited users (like Paperless Pipeline) wins for large teams with modest volume — a 10-user team closing 25 deals a month pays $190 versus $200 on TC Track. Per-seat pricing wins for small teams with high volume.

What is the cheapest transaction coordination software for a solo TC?

Of the five platforms we compared, TC Track is the cheapest published price for one user at $29/month. AFrame is $54, TcDocs is $70, Paperless Pipeline starts at $69, and Open To Close starts at $99.

Do transaction coordination platforms charge setup fees?

None of the five platforms we compared publish a setup fee, and Paperless Pipeline explicitly includes free setup, training, and import. Watch instead for costs that grow after signup: per-user charges, feature-gated tiers, and paid add-on modules.
